AICLA NZ Conference and Awards

Last Friday, 8th August, we attended the AICLA NZ Division Conference at the Maritime Rooms in Auckland, joining colleagues from across the country for a day of learning, networking, and celebrating excellence in loss adjusting.

We were proud to have a strong presence at the event, attending to gain insights from engaging presentations, connect with our peers, and witness the inaugural AICLA NZ Awards.

One of the highlights of the day for us was seeing our very own Maddie Harris named the first-ever AICLA NZ Division Loss Adjusting Support Person of the Year. This award recognises Maddie’s exceptional dedication, professionalism, and the incredible support she gives our team every day. We are thrilled to have Maddie representing McLarens and couldn’t be prouder of her achievement.

Over lunch, we enjoyed Stories over Supper, hearing reflections, anecdotes, and humour from AICLA Life Members, which added a personal touch to an already informative day.

We are also proud to celebrate our team members who were elected to the AICLA NZ Committee:

• Trina Far, returning as Chair

• Dave Merritt, returning as Treasurer

• Maddie Stubbins, returning as Committee Member

• Erika Cox, joining as Committee Member

Their appointments reflect the respect and trust our colleagues hold across the industry, and we are proud to see our team contributing to AICLA’s future in New Zealand.

The conference was a fantastic opportunity for us to learn, connect, and celebrate excellence within our profession.
