Challenges & Opportunities: ICNZ Conference
Today, we attended the Insurance Council of New Zealand Conference held at the Hilton Hotel on the Auckland waterfront. In addition to our attendance, we had the distinct pleasure of sponsoring the event's incredible MC, Miriama Kamo. As an award-winning broadcaster, writer, speaker, and environmental advocate, Miriama guided attendees through this exceptional event, setting the stage for thought-provoking dialogues and collaborative endeavours.
Our sponsorship wasn't the only highlight of the conference. Our booth emerged as a hub of activity within the bustling atmosphere, drawing attendees. Featuring multiple merchandise giveaways and an electrifying game of Buzz Wire, we engaged with attendees to unwind, network, and engage in spirited competitions.
Beyond the fun at our booth, it was a valuable opportunity to listen to experts across various industries, including representatives from the insurance sectors of both New Zealand and Australia, as well as central and local government officials, representatives from banks, and government departments such as Forest and Bird.
The conference provided a platform to confront the myriad challenges facing the insurance industry, from escalating natural disasters to the evolving landscape of technology. Through insightful discussions and expert panels, attendees delved into strategies to enhance resilience, mitigate risks, and navigate the complexities of an ever-changing world.
Our thanks go to the ICNZ and organisers for such a fantastic conference, which brought together stakeholders from across the industry to share knowledge, insights, and inspiration. It was also a poignant moment to extend our gratitude to the outgoing Chief Executive of the ICNZ, Tim Grafton, for his invaluable contributions and leadership across his tenure
