Cooking Up Care at Ronald McDonald House

On Monday 14th July, members of our Auckland based Customer Solutions Centre and Motor teams stepped out of the office and into the kitchen at Ronald McDonald House – Auckland Domain, ready to serve up more than just great teamwork.

Those stepping up were Alexa Lagman, Alex Day, Charlene duPlessis, Connor Harris, Denise Greyling, Emma Rundle, Jacque Chaplin, Mahsheed Positos, Nicki Nemeth, and Sharat Raman combined efforts to cook a hearty dinner for families staying at the House. The menu? A full comfort-food feast of sausages, creamy mash, wedges, onion rings, tasty vegetables, salad, and lashings of gravy.

Giving back to our community is something we take seriously. We are proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides accommodation and essential support to families while their children receive hospital care. The organisation plays a vital role in helping thousands of families across New Zealand each year, and we are pleased to contribute in a small but practical way.

This opportunity was made possible through the McLarens Global CommUNITY initiative, which funded the ingredients for the evening meal.

It was a rewarding evening for the team, who appreciated the opportunity to support a cause that reflects our values and to make a small difference for families facing a challenging time.
