Everyday Superheroes Take on the Challenge!

Our Wellington team recently took part in the second Spirit to Cure event for 2024, proudly continuing our sponsorship of Suncorp New Zealand’s cancer fundraising challenge.

This time, our team of everyday superheroes – including Lance Cook and Ashley Mupariwa – tackled the scenic yet challenging 5.5km trail at Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne, the world’s first fully-fenced urban ecosanctuary, home to a rich variety of unique flora and fauna.

Led by Branch Manager Lance Cook, the team completed the walk together, showing their support for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand and Cancer Research Trust NZ.

The event also had a fun twist – Lance even brought along his wife and daughter, making it a true family affair! And if that wasn’t exciting enough, they even had a visit from “Thor” himself, though he left the thunder behind.
