Swinging into Action Across NZ

On Friday, 14 February 2025, we were proud to sponsor a fantastic golf day at Arikikapakapa Golf Course in Rotorua – and what a day it was! This event was arranged by Dawson Insurance and raised funds for this year's chosen charity, Love Soup Rotorua.

The game was played under Ambrose rules, ensuring a fun and inclusive experience for all. A large cohort of people attended, making it a great opportunity to connect with so many from the Upper North Island insurance community.

Alongside sponsoring the event, we fired up the BBQ and served delicious sausages and steaks, all while enjoying some great tunes. To top it off, we handed out hats, sunscreen, and golf tees, and served our very own brewed IPA, The Adjuster – a refreshing addition to the day!

Our team, including Janine Mostert, Lisa Gibson, Tim Head, Maddie Stubbins, David Millington, and Keegan Millington, all had a fantastic time out on the course and manning the BBQ. Even if we didn't win, the day was all about fun, connection, and catching up with so many.

Meanwhile, on the same day, we had another team teeing off at a Gallagher-run event at Palmerston North Golf Club. 

Our Palmerston North team included Te Rina Peina, Joy Koolen, Rebecca Bennett, Nicole Ibbs, Lance Cook, and Matt Horan, all of whom enjoyed a great day on the course, catching up with industry peers.

It was a scorcher of a day in Palmy, but that didn’t stop our team from having a great time. Nicole was part of the winning team, and Te Rina had some luck on her side, pulling her own ticket from the hat to win the raffle!
